6 Dispute resolution

6.1 Consumer arbitration

Volkswagen is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

6.2 Dispute resolution under the Digital Service Act

Users have the right to call a certified out-of-court dispute resolution body to resolve disputes in connection with decisions on reports or complaints.
We may refuse to cooperate with the out-of-court dispute resolution body if a dispute regarding the same information and the same grounds for the alleged illegality of the content or its alleged incompatibility with our General Terms and Conditions is already pending before a court or dispute resolution body or has already been settled.

We would also like to point out that the dispute resolution may not be binding and that there is always the possibility of recourse to state courts in order to obtain binding decisions for both parties.
